I was getting sick of taking three Ibuprofen a day and my antibiotic twice a day and forgot to take them when I should have. Now I have all these aches and pains so I guess it [the ibuprofen]was working after all. Then my car broke down so I didn't bring them to work and couldn't go home for them on my break (took the university shuttle to work.) So now my head is aching and I can't take anything for it cause it might mess with my dosing from the dr of the ibuprofen and the antibiotics. :( My left eye is throbbing and it wasn't before so I guess the ibuprofen was helping some of my inflammations... might have to see the eye dr if this keeps up. :cries:

Anyhow... yeah... been one heck of a day. My car has incontinence. I was filling the radiator directly up with fluid and it was peeing it out the other side. :rage: So I can't drive it if it's emptying out it's bowels that quickly. Just one more day and I get the old van from my folks. It's newer and in semi-better shape than this one so I should be ok for a bit. My folks never wear out their cars with the exception of a truck my dad clings to. LOL And it still runs! :omg:

So yeah... just trying to deal with stuff. Taking Friday off so the folks can come and pick me up and take me home so I can get the old van. I also need to clean a bit before they come. My apt looks like crap. :fear: Don't feel like cleaning but I need to.

Other than that... nothing much.

OMG to it all! Yeah. Ibuprofen does work on swelling (occasional tendinitis). I hate knowing you're dealing with crapola on such a grand scale.

My mom is coming down the week after T & I go to the wedding. Gahhh... I briefly considered suicide but then she'd see my horrible room anyway so what's the point. She's awesome, don't get me wrong, but she's not easy. When we were little we actually had a monthly wall cleaning day. The walls for cripes sake.

On the other hand, I wouldn't know how to cook the way I do without her making me do dinner once a week; No one lives at home without contributing. And I sure know how to shove stuff places so it looks nice-- on the surface... when company comes over.

No. Wait. I taught myself that very handy skill.

Anyways, commiserations my friend. If I lived close I'd come over to help (creatively shove stuff). Just put on some jumping music to build impitus and you'll get it done. Soon you'll have a functioning vehicle, which is so, so important.

I'm good at stuffing stuff in the back room so I can't walk in it w/o getting out a machete to hack stuff out of my way. :stab:

I'd be too embarrassed to let anyone but family see my mess... it is horrendous at times but thanks for the offer.

And I will have a car come Sunday. I need to learn how to use the alarm on it and what all the buttons do. I've never had a car with fancy buttons and auto opening doors etc. Nothing like the car my folks just bought. They said the manual was HUGE and the sales guy gave them a dummy list that has all the short answers to what things do. LOL I have yet to drive in the new car... possibly tomorrow as I'm off and the folks are coming up to get me. :D

well it didn't conk out today but the thing my dad warned me about with the brakes happened... it decided to lock up so I couldn't do what I was going to do today. I had to come home. :cries:

Not that I was going to hang out with people I absolutely love but it would have been a bonding moment with some of my coworkers watching Star Trek, the movie.

Yeesh... brakes locking up is serious business. Glad you're okay Lehsa! Too bad about missing the movie outing. I hear it's awesome (new Star Trek movie).

*pat pat pat* I know how it is... We've got to get the whole house clean before she shows up and THE FAMILY descends upon us. Brian's parents are cool, but my mom... Kinda OCD, so I actually have to DUST everything, not just do a normal "clean".

But I hope things are going better for you soon - It sounds like one thing after another. :( You deserve a good lie-down and some tea. :tea:

My mom isn't OCD but once they came to visit and she wasn't feeling too well. So my dad and I went to the nearby BBQ place to get a little lunch to bring back. I had failed to clean this one stain behind the front door. I covered it with something but I guess my mom saw cause when I got back, the thing over it was moved and the stain had been mopped up. LOL I looked at my mom on the sofa and went "did you uhm clean anything up?" and she's like "like what?" :slap: I mean... geesh... if you're sick just be sick and rest and don't do the martyred mother thing! :rage: She can be annoying in that way. :faint:
