So yeah, I took off Wednesday cause I was so miserable. Now I have meds despite being poor... now I'm poorer.
Other than that... I will work on more art when I feel better.

sorry to hear that leh. I'm definitely sitting next to you on the poor train (what does that even mean??).
Bran's got a point with the hot baths. She taught me about Japanese baths - you take a warm shower and scrub off to get any guk off, and then fill up the tub with water as hot as you can stand it without burning yourself. Sit in it for 15 minutes, and then get out. Careful not to faint when you get out of the hot, hot water! you'll probably be a little dizzy, and you may feel weak - all normal, just be careful. Then wrap yourself head to toe in as many blankets as you can to basically steam, and to cool off slowly. Stay in the blankets for about half an hour (iirc).
You can also put herbs in your bath to help the symptoms. Ginger will smell good, and I believe it helps with the flue itself, but I'm not sure in what way at the moment, and all you have to do is grate it up and put it in a closed washcloth. Chamomile tea bags (use 3 or 4) will help soothe your skin. you actually can get pretty sleepy from it. I'm not sure what else you would want to put in. You might want to ask Bran since she's the herbalist.
also, keep some water near your bath and drink a lot to replace the water you lose through sweating. This may also help any weakness you feel upon getting out - I just forget it all the time. and keep some tylenol near you too for any headache.
So, the point of this is basically to help clean the nastiness out of your body. It's also got the seal of "Things mom did to me when I was really sick", so yep, it works. Sorry for the long post...
Sleep and hot baths, that's the ticket! And gallons of hot tea.
